For the First Time Ever Digital advertising to get more revenue from print in 2010 + unveiled .co release plan

We have been talking about the migration of advertising revenue from print to web for years. A milestone tipping point where advertisers are really starting to spend more on

electronic platforms print will finally be coming this year, according to a new study group Outsell research and consulting.  Erik Sass in MediaDailyNews summary of the report of the Outsell a column Monday, noting that data comes from a study of more than 1,000 U.S. advertisers and marketers that took place in December.

The study revealed that the 32.5% of the $ 368 million u.s. advertisers and marketers plan to spend in 2010 was obtained to digital printing falling to a share of 30.3% of the cake (digital costs include ads display, search, marketing email direct and development of corporate Web sites).

The biggest losers in the continuing decline of media print newspapers and printed directories (such as yellow pages) will be on Outsell.La company says newspapers can expect to see their revenue stream already decimated fall another 8 per cent in 2010.Directories are also expected to fall 8 per cent, but Outsell predicts magazines will defy the trend and actually see an increase of 2%.

Traditional electronic media also continued to lose ground to digital media that surpassed radio spending in 2008.TV now is seeing its market share steadily erode as well and Outsell said that TV advertising revenues fall 6.5 percent this year as eyeballs will continue to gravitate to the web.
